350th Guru Teg Bahadur Shaheedi Diwas Programme
Organized By Mewar Group of Institutions
Mewar Group of Institutions organized a solemn and inspirational programme on 29 November 2025 at Vivekanand Hall to commemorate the 350th Guru Teg Bahadur ShaheediDiwas. The event honored the Guru’s supreme sacrifice and teachings, with active participation from students across departments, reflecting the institution’s commitment to cultural learning, moral values, and unity. The ceremony began with the Lighting of the Lamp by Director Dr. Alka Agarwal, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. This set a spiritual tone, followed by the recitation of the Mool Mantra by Karishma (BA LL.B.), which created a serene atmosphere. Students then presented speeches and poems expressing devotion and highlighting Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s courage, steadfastness, and defense of human rights. Contributions by Alisha, Aditi, Muskan, Dhruv, Om Prakash, and other students showcased their respect for the Guru’s legacy. Motivational slogans by the HSS Department further encouraged values of truth, bravery, and compassion. A key highlight was Dr. Agarwal’s inspirational address, in which she shared incidents from the Guru’s life and urged students to embody his values in their personal and academic pursuits. The programme concluded respectfully with the National Anthem and was efficiently coordinated by the HSS Department, with anchoring by Mr. Amit Parashar faculty from HSS Department.
